Moving forward

I never thought how hard this journey will be……..🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

I underestimated the pain, all my life I had to be strong but I WAS NEVER READY 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

I couldn’t move up the stairs last night my poor husband felt such a pain, I could near to the emotion in his eyes. I had to make him proud.

I have always struggled with severe endometriosis in the past and have lost three babies due to the endometriosis.

After many attempts I finally gave birth to my son who is my second born child in 2011. After his birth everything was fine with me until I started experiencing pain in my lower abdomen 4 years post birth (2016).

I consulted my GP regularly and got rendered to my gynecologist on several occasions but nothing was found.

In July 2017 my gynecologist discovered some follicles on my ovaries and in my uterus but they were benign. The pain became excruciatingly painful such that it even affected the level of intimacy with my husband, I decided to go to the gynecologist again on the 7th June I discovered that I have several fibroids as big as tennis balls inside my uterus and one on top of the uterus.

I was advised on several treatments but I could not bear the thought of them coming back again.

I then decided to go and have a hysterectomy done for a more permanent solution.
